Senior Attorney & Owner
After 10 years in public education, Kerri attended South Texas College of Law. Kerri served as President of the Fort Bend Bar Association in 2017 and is actively involved in the Katy Bar Association. She proudly serves as vice president of Fort Bend Lawyers Care, where she has served as a director for the past 3 years. Her legal background includes Contested and Uncontested Probate Matters, Estate Planning and Trusts, Family Law and Divorce, Elder Law, Medicaid, Special Needs Planning, Contested and Uncontested Guardianship, Estate Administration, Post-Death Property Transfers, and Mental Health Issues. For Kerri, practicing law consists of two critical components: advocacy and caring counsel. Kerri has personally been through the difficult decisions that the senior and their families experience and understands that these decisions must be handled with respect, dignity, understanding, and clear counsel. Kerri believes that caring counsel is necessary when advocating for families and children in the divorce process. As a mother of three adult children and one beautiful elementary age daughter, Kerri understands that families are often managing many emotional and financial decisions as they handle their life journeys.
Kerri is an active member and past President of the Fort Bend County Bar Association, member of the Katy Bar Association, the Disability and Elder Law Attorney Association, and the Katy Lady Lawyers Social Society. She is also actively involved in Katy ISD schools, her church, and the Katy community.
Before joining Kerri’s team in 2016, Robert proudly served a California non-profit providing for the needs of children around the world. During his time there, Robert used his data management and accounting skills to obtain federal grants which provided wheelchairs for children in third-world countries. As part of this task, Robert flew to India to personally deliver the much-needed medical equipment to the beneficiaries. These experiences aid him daily as he handles his tasks as a paralegal in the areas of Litigation, Family Law, and Estate Planning. Robert believes that details are important and carries out client service with excellence! Outside of work, his interests include spending time with his son, CrossFit, and reading.
Having already been serving the citizens of Fort Bend in her position at the Fort Bend County Justice Center, Sarah DeLeon is excited to continue doing so in a private practice. Sarah joined Kerri’s team in late 2018, and her tasks as a paralegal encompass Probate and Guardianship. She approaches both areas of practice with the utmost compassion. Sarah is a wife and mother of three who stays active in her Fort Bend County Community. A proponent of a fit and healthy lifestyle, Sarah and her family take the time to exercise together regularly.
